![]() Both my wife and a couple of friends who have shot these guns agree on this, my buddy is looking to sell his M&P 9c & Glock 48 to free funds for a MR918 - he's that impressed.ĥ. I am impressed with the accuracy of these guns. Barrel - I can shoot my 19s good, but with the MR918s (all three of mine) I am getting to an almost "surgical" state. Yep, I can get Trijicon HDs or Ameriglo's for my regular 19s and I like Trijicon HDs a lot, but getting these for a stock 19 is going to cost some extra $$.Ĥ. The trigger on this gun is a factory trigger, so no-one can say "oh lord, he modified his trigger yada yada yada" something that means something to me (I know that not all shooters think that way, but I do and it matters to me, if it doesn't to you - no problem, I can understand that too.)ģ. I am a stock trigger guy, always have been I've only bought one after market trigger in 35 years, a SSVI Tyr trigger - and I didn't even install it in my 43, I ended up giving it to a friend. It comes with a very good trigger, better than any stock 19 trigger that I have ever shot. Better than any texture on any of the different Glock 19 gens as far as I am concerned.Ģ. ![]() The stippling/texturing on the grip is fantastic - for me. The adjustable back - rear hump is a great feature. The grip fits me better than any 19 that I have owned or shot (with the exception of a Bowie Tactical grip reduction and a Robar grip reduction 19). I say that having owned 30+ Glock 19s and EDCing one since 2005.ġ. Is it better? That depends on the shooter and what he/she likes or wants. Someone in another thread asked me " Is the Shadow worth it and why in your opinion? How does it beat out a Glock?" The MR918 has replaced my Glock 19s, I am a big fan of the Glock 19 - have owned 30+ 19s since 2005 (Gens 2s, 3s, and 4s). I currently have two Shadow Systems MR918s (had a third but sold it a month or so ago). Regarding Suarez Slides and barrels - I am thinking of maybe getting one for my Glock 26 or if I get a Poly 80 26 frame. it will have to be one without the front cut out, but I do want to shoot one. I'm going to have to rent a 19 when this Chi Com flu ends and put one through its paces. (I've actually read a bit about his slides and barrels and from what I have read posted from those who use them - they are good to go!)Īgain, I do love the Glock 19 pistol so those of you that think I'm not a fan of the gun are very wrong. Again as I posted before, I have not shot a Gen 5 Glock 19 (though I have owned 30+ 19s, Gen 2s,3s, & 4s) but I would think that the Suarez slide and barrel are going to offer a little benefit in performance. So the actual test that you performed is between a MR918 and a Customized Gen 5 Glock 19. Looks like a Suarez slide and barrel in it. ![]() That's not a stock Glock 19 that you are shooting. Just watched your video again and noticed something that I had glanced over the first time.
